- Returning Non-Damaged Items
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase you can return it to us/the vendor in its original condition within 14 days of the date you received the item and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item, but not the shipping. Some items have shipping built into the price like Ruthie and Gussie's latke batter. Koshergourmetmart.com will determine the share of the price dedicated to the product price and the share of the price dedicated to shipping it to you.
We do not reimburse return shipping charges, so please contact us prior to mailing back a damaged or incorrect item.
To return goods, you must contact a Customer Service Representative by email at this email address for a Returned Goods Authorization number. Items may not be accepted without an RGA number.
Please include the following information in your request
- Reason you wish to return the goods
- Date of Receipt of Order
You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return/exchange was the result of our error of the wrong item being sent to you.
Please note that the cost of returning these items is the responsibility of the customer. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase within 14 days of our/the vendor receiving your return.
- Returning Damaged Items
We will reimburse you for ALL funds related to damage of items which are sent to you, by the respective shipper or carrier of the items, provided you assist in documenting such damages without undue delay (within 2 days of receipt).
Damages: If the item was delivered to you insured and you find that the item(s) was (were) damaged in transit, you are expected to contact us immediately via email so that we may begin to process the appropriate claim with the respective shipping agent. If you discard the item(s) and.or to fail to take a photo, we will not be able to reimburse you for your claim.
YOU MUST ALSO CONTACT THE CARRIER AND MAKE A CLAIM.
Most carriers will only accept a claim made by the recipient, not by the shipper.
Most shippers require an immediate notification as to damages, so when an instance aforementioned is discovered:
- Please notify the respective shipper
- File a report to establish a claim of damages and
- Be sure to make a record of the relevant information regarding the particular item including: with whom you filed the claim AND the respective claim information and procedures necessary for compensatory damages. A photo will usually suffice.
In most cases, proof of insurance will not be required and is recorded on the said item if shipped. If it is required to submit a receipt, contact us concerning details for a buyer-initiated refund at your destination OR if we are issuing a refund for the goods for which a claim is filed, we will require that a claim number and related information are submitted in whole to us prior to the issuance of a refund.
We will not be able to refund you any monies for damaged items if you do not file an insurance claim, or discard the damaged product without taking a photo.
